The word license appears more frequently than ever in today's digital asset industry. It can be found on company websites, in marketing materials, and across industry news. Yet for many people, one question remains:
What does this status actually mean, and why does it matter?
The answer goes far beyond holding an official document. A licensed digital asset service provider is a regulated market participant that operates under established rules, complies with regulatory requirements, and is accountable for its activities. This is what fundamentally distinguishes the regulated market from informal transactions, where responsibility often rests entirely with the individual user.
Regulation Protects Clients
When choosing a digital asset service, many people still focus primarily on one factor—price. However, professional financial services begin long before a transaction is completed. They begin with knowing who is providing the service, how customer identity is verified, how the source of funds is assessed, how transactions are documented, and what records clients receive once an operation has been completed. These are the processes that create trust.
Transparency Reduces Risk
Every financial transaction carries responsibility. Working with a licensed provider means that every operation is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, customer identification procedures, and internal security standards. This approach helps reduce the risks associated with unverified counterparties, digital assets of questionable origin, or transactions lacking proper documentation. Transparency is not an additional service—it is the foundation of modern financial infrastructure.
A License Means Responsibility
Obtaining a license is not the end of a company's journey. In many ways, it is only the beginning. Maintaining regulatory compliance requires continuous improvement of internal processes, ongoing investment in security, and a long-term commitment to delivering high-quality client service. A license is not permission to operate without limits. It is a responsibility to meet regulatory standards every single day.
Why It Matters Today
As the market matures, client expectations continue to grow. People expect more than convenience—they expect confidence that every transaction is conducted within a transparent and regulated environment. That is why trust, rather than execution speed or pricing alone, is becoming the defining advantage of modern financial services. Professional financial services are built where innovation is supported by transparency, accountability, and clear regulatory standards.
The Voluto Approach
At Voluto, we believe working with digital assets should be as transparent, secure, and straightforward as any other modern financial service.
That is why our licenses are not marketing credentials or symbols of prestige. They are the foundation of everything we do—from customer identification and transaction support to regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
We believe the future belongs to companies that earn trust through transparency rather than promises.
Because when money evolves, trust matters more than technology.
Voluto's Licenses: What They Mean for Clients
Voluto operates under two licenses issued by the National Agency of Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP).
A Crypto Shop License authorizes Voluto to provide digital asset buying and selling services in accordance with the applicable legal framework. For clients, this means every transaction is conducted within a regulated environment, supported by mandatory customer identification, established security procedures, and appropriate transaction documentation.
A Crypto Depository License authorizes Voluto to provide digital asset custody services and maintain digital asset records within the regulated financial infrastructure. Holding this license requires strict standards for asset protection, operational security, and ongoing regulatory compliance. Together, these licenses confirm that Voluto is not an intermediary operating in the informal market, but a fully licensed digital asset service provider conducting its business within the legal framework of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
